Michelle Morris
Michelle is a Hudson Valley-based, award-winning creative director/motion graphic designer with over 20 years of experience. She sees the connection between art and technology and understands the importance of the designers' role in organizing and displaying information, and creating an engaging experience, no matter what the medium.
After earning a BFA in printmaking and graphic design, Michelle began her career at Bloomberg LP as a broadcast designer for Bloomberg Information Television, the newly launched 24-hour business-news station on DirectTV. She was promoted to Lead Designer for Bloomberg Business Report on Fox, then Art Director for Bloomberg Small Business and Bloomberg Personal on USA Network, Tech, Money, Tax Smart Now and would manage the art department for Bloomberg Television and the design of the Bloomberg Television 2000 data screen, before deciding to give freelance a go!
Michelle specializes in motion graphic design using After Effects and has freelanced on a wide array of projects and brands. This sharpened her animation skills while broadening her understanding of different A/V displays and how the media she creates works with different systems. She's done it all! Print, broadcast, electronic signage, large-scale multimedia installations, conference media, and web and social content.
With the addition of 3D animation, editing and sound design capabilities in 2007, Snelgraphix was born!
Michelle continues to seek out exciting and diverse projects in which she can use her time and talents to help corporations she believes in; help local community members make a difference; and promote non-profit organizations through good design, strong messaging and meaningful experiences.
